The Annual Peer Helpers Jubilee

Since 2014, recognizing the lack of opportunities for students from across the county to come together, the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation established the Peer Helpers Jubilee. This annual event brings peer helpers from various schools together to receive positive, empowering messages and to build healthy connections.

Each year, students and educators involved in the Peer Helpers PLUS program have the chance to hear from inspirational and educational speakers on topics that students face daily. The event also provides a valuable platform for peer helpers and program coordinators to network, share best practices, and promote prevention, safety, and supportive school environments.

Thanks to sponsorships from local businesses, the Foundation is proud to offer this entire event — including lunch, transportation, and costs for substitute teachers — at no cost to students or partnering schools.

The Peer Helpers Jubilee is designed for Peer Helpers and Program Coordinators from Baldwin County’s 55 public, private, and parochial schools, as well as a homeschool cooperative. The event spans two days: the first day focuses on elementary school students and coordinators, while the second day is dedicated to middle and high school programs.

Understanding the importance of parental involvement, the Foundation warmly invites parents to attend.

This year's Peer Helpers Jubilee will be held at AMC Classic Wharf 15 in Orange Beach on Wednesday, November 5th, and Thursday, November 6th.

Celebrating acts of kindness and service that happen daily in our schools, the Peer Helpers Jubilee is a time to gather, recognize, and spread hope among the young servant leaders who are shaping the future of Baldwin County!

Testimonials

Everybody’s going through something, and no matter what you’re going through, there is somebody going through something similar to you. There is always somebody you can talk to."

I really think her message about the drugs is really important. We have a very bad vaping problem at our school. A lot of kids think it’s okay because their friends want to do it, but really its killing us, and we need to do something about it."

My favorite speaker, I would have to say, was probably Daniel. I thought that he really inspired us to ask the hard questions, and be open about our truth."
