What We Do

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation provides training, funding and support for Peer Helper Programs. The Foundation supports 49 Peer Helper Programs in 46 schools across Baldwin County, Alabama. These schools are Baldwin County Public elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools, C.F. Taylor Alternative School, Christ The King Catholic School, Saint Benedict Catholic School and Snook Christian Academy.

Peer Helping is a variety of supportive services initiated by peers of elementary, middle, and high school students in diverse settings. Peer Helpers are young people who are trained and supervised by professionals who adhere to the ethics and standards of The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation.

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation offers on and offsite Peer Helper Program training and consulting services to school systems and youth organizations across the country.  The Foundation can tailor the type of training provided to the specific needs of the trainees and can create an individualized training agenda.
