The Foundation’s primary fundraiser is the Annual Professional Rodeo, an award-winning Professional Cowboy Association event. This event attracts thousands of fans who cheer on professional cowboys and cowgirls from across the South. All proceeds from the 2018 Rodeo benefit local Peer Helper Programs in schools across Baldwin County.

Gates Open at 5:30pm – Rodeo Action at 8:00pm

Kids Zone activities include face painting, tattoos, bouncy house, inflatable obstacle course and games!

Horseback Rides Thursday & Friday compliments of Oak Hollow Farms from 7:00 – 7:45pm 

2018 Peer Helper Partner & Rodeo Sponsorship

With your contribution, the Foundation will be able to provide multiple Peer Helper and Coordinator trainings, host the National Conference and present the Peer Helper Jubilee. Furthermore, programs will be equipped in each school with the Peer Helper Portal and direct funds for activity supplies and resources.

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation is seeking volunteers for our 21st Annual Professional Rodeo. From the entry gate, event parking, kid’s area to concession stand – there are many volunteer opportunities for the 2018 Rodeo!

Your support is greatly appreciated in helping the Foundation reach its mission of providing youth with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to successfully navigate the pressures of day-to-day life issues and excel into adulthood through the Peer Helper Programs throughout Baldwin County schools.

Calendar of Events

2018 Rodeo Princess/Queen Interviews & Contest 

  • Interviews are on Tuesday, July 24th– 6:00 pm at Frances Holk-Jones State Farm Agency, 315 E. Laurel Avenue (Hwy 98) in Foley.
  • The Horsemanship AND Crowning event will be Thursday, July 26th– 6:30 pm at Foley Horse Arena on Hwy 59 (weather permitting). The rain out date will be Monday, July 31st (same times). The winners will be required to make appearances at each rodeo performance and other pre-rodeo events (no horse required for rodeo). Full Western Attire required at all times.
  • Ellen Corte Photography will be available for individual (w/horse) and group photos before the horsemanship: Individual pictures at 4:30 pm and Group pictures at 6:00 pm. During this time, you will vote for Miss Congeniality. Good Luck to each of you!
  • The contestants will be judged on appearance, horsemanship (with your own horse) and will be interviewed by 3 judges. All scores will be totaled & averaged for final results. Each contestant will be asked to sell 4 adult rodeo tickets at $12 each, available for pick up at Summerdale Western Store. You will receive 2 additional tickets at no charge. Applications must be turned in at Summerdale Western Store by Friday, July 14th at 5pm, along with ticket money. On these dates, you may pick up horsemanship patterns and tickets.
